Mar 4, 20

New York City, NY. Benchmark Litigation, a leading international rating organization based in New York City, has once again named the Sioux Falls law firm of Johnson, Janklow, and Abdallah, L.L.P., the South Dakota Law Firm of the Year. The award is given to the top litigation law firm in each state based upon eight months of extensive research conducted in 2019. This is the third year in a row that the firm has won the prestigious award. “We are so honored to be the only law firm in South Dakota to receive this national award,” said Scott Abdallah, a partner in the firm. “The award is a tribute to our team of attorneys and staff who dedicate themselves each day to all of our clients,” added Russ Janklow, a partner in the firm. The firm has now won the award four of the last five years. Johnson, Janklow & Abdallah, LLP, has eleven lawyers focused almost exclusively on civil litigation including personal injury, trust and estate litigation, workers’ compensation, business litigation, employment disputes, constitutional law and appeals of all kinds. The firm is the only one of its size in South Dakota dedicated exclusively to litigation matters. The firm’s trust and estate litigation practice is led by partner Pamela Reiter, who has been previously recognized by Benchmark Litigation as one of the top two female litigators in South Dakota. The law firm adds this award to a growing list of impressive national awards, including US News and World Report’s list of Best Lawyers and Law Firms, Super Lawyers and one of only four law firms in South Dakota to receive the highest ranking possible for litigation by Chambers USA, an international rating entity for attorneys
