After four hours of deliberation, the jury unanimously found that the doctor breached the standard of care and awarded $1,000,000 in damages to the client. The client suffered injuries after the doctor failed to diagnose a surgical site infection after a surgery. The jury found that the doctor committed medical malpractice in not timely diagnosing and treating the infection.
