Jami J. Bishop

Jami J. Bishop was born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  She graduated with distinction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and then attended the University of South Dakota School of Law.  In 2010, she received her law degree with high honors.   

Jami’s law practice focuses solely on civil litigation, including motor vehicle collisions, worker’s compensation litigation, bad faith, personal injury, railroad litigation and premises liability cases.  Jami has extensive litigation experience and has obtained millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for her clients.  Her skill set is wide ranging and includes trying jury trials, court trials, mediations, writing legal briefs and making oral arguments before the South Dakota Supreme Court.  Jami is the former President of the Second Circuit Women In Law, current Chair of the Worker’s Compensation Committee, and a member of the SD Trial Lawyers Association.
